Type 2 Turbidity Curtain Sizing
The type 2 turbidity curtain is made in two standard size sections, 50 ft. and 100 ft. While the curtain can be made in sections that exceed this length, most customers will typically combine multiple sections together in order to get the required lengths.
Combining Turbidity Curtain Sections
For the type 2 turbidity curtain, sections will typically be combined through built-in section connectors. At the end of each curtain section will be grommet eyes and aluminum section connectors.
Two of these connectors can slide together to form a solid barrier wall. Connectors can be kept in place through the use of toggle pins. Grommet sections can additionally be joined by ties through the grommet eyes.
At the bottom of the chain, sections can be connected together through the use of shackles or snap hooks. This snap hook will attach to the chain or ring of the adjacent section for additional strength.
